Gresham first started to develop its ticketing management system in 1998. At that time it was little more than an order tracking system, but it nevertheless led the market in providing on-line management capability to our customers.
In the years since then we've
developed it constantly,
eventually reaching the
immensely powerful system
that has become Gresham
Reactor.
We developed the system to resolve the
inherent flaws in the three-cornered communication
between retailer, supplier and ticket manufacturer. Working with pioneer companies such as Next we were able to move the hands-on management of ticketing from the retailer to the manufacturer.
Reactor today provides an on-line management system that gives full control to the people who actually apply the tickets and labels; it allows instant replenishment, detailed scheduling and provides massive scope to control and reduce the costs in the supply chain.
As it stands, Reactor allows users to target their printing requirements so that ticket and label production occurs in exactly the right place - which is not always where the garments are manufactured. It allows instant re-ordering for replenishment, plus spot-on accuracy in controlling quantities and delivery schedules.
But there's more to come; in a radical extension of the system, we're now seeking partners to develop the ultimate needlepoint print service.
You can see a little of Reactor's power by taking the Reactor tour , but to appreciate fully what it can do for your supply chain, please contact us for your own personal demonstration. |
