As you've probably already noticed, the system gives you a view of every order's status, right up to the point when it's despatched. But you can get still more detail than this. If you click on the word Despatched, or the name of the factory from which it was sent, you'll be taken direct to the tracking system of the relevant carrier, with your consignment already selected.

Alternatively, you can view the details of the order by clicking anywhere else in the line. In the order details you'll see a delivery info box, which will show you information such as the Airway Bill for the consignment. If you click on the AWB, you'll be taken to the carrier's tracking system as before.

Viewing an Invoice

Once an order has been invoiced, these details also get added to the Order Management System. You'll see an Invoice Number box on the order details screen. Immediately the invoice is issued, you'll see the words Not yet invoiced are replaced by an order number. Depending on your level of access you may be able to click on the number to see a printer-friendly copy of the invoice.

The lower half of the main menu is concerned with catalogue items that you can order via the management system. A catalogue item is a ticket or label that is held in stock by Gresham under a specific product reference. To order catalogue items, choose which product group or groups you're interested in and click Create.

The screen you see is very similar to the other ordering screens. You simply enter your required quantities and click Continue to next stage.

Tip: If you click on the product codes you can see pictures of the tickets you're ordering, helping you to avoid mistakes.

When you move on to the next stage, you have the chance to set your delivery details. The system automatically brings up your default destination, but you can change this if you wish.

When you're happy with everything, click Create Order. The system automatically creates a printer-friendly acknowledgement for your records.
